Mark has an impressive pedigree having cooked for some of the world’s most prestigious figures including Queen Elizabeth II at Taupo’s prestigious Huka Lodge as well as numerous A-list celebrities in the Caribbean. He has worked as head chef for Peter Gordon’s fine-dining restaurant “Dine” in Sky City and has launched his own signature range of epicurean ready-made soups and pestos.
Chef Harman is excited to share his vision with you, “By using fresh, locally sourced Kapiti ingredients, I have created an unforgettable culinary experience for you at Sudbury. I want to showcase how to create incredible flavours and textures through my work over the past twenty years at some of the best restaurants around the world.”
Mark is also a culinary ambassador for New Zealand and has received local and international recognition as he pushes the boundaries of international cuisine in competitive cooking. His many awards include the New Zealand Beef & Lamb Hallmark of Excellence Award, three Wellington Culinary Fare medals, including two golds for best overall dishes as well as gold in the National Culinary Fare.
